Planned Installer

The Direct Arch Live image boots into a complete Plasma desktop and opens Linxira Welcome automatically. Calamares does not auto-start: launch it manually from Welcome or the application menu when you are ready. The expected flow is:

  1. Boot from the USB drive
  2. Open "Install Linxira OS" in Welcome or the application menu
  3. Choose your language and keyboard layout
  4. Select a partitioning scheme. btrfs with Timeshift is recommended.
  5. Choose optional reviewed profiles from catalog v2 and create your user account
  6. Wait for the installer to finish
  7. Restart the system and remove the USB drive

After first boot, use Shelly for graphical package management. Shelly is not an installer dependency and does not perform Calamares transactions.
