Current build is 2026.10.27-r4 (October 27 batch, iteration 4): installer boot/ESP gating fixes, a new System page in Welcome, the linxira-config capabilities manifest, and copyable crash prompts.

KDE Plasma is the only recommended desktop. Terminal, system settings, updates, and configuration entry points are all verified there. Other desktops (including COSMIC) still have known defects — some system entries do not open a terminal, a few components exit immediately; these are being fixed gradually across build cycles, so do not use them for daily work in the meantime. The r4 terminal-dispatch fix has shipped as packages (linxira-config-hub 2.6.2, linxira-update 0.1.10, linxira-crash-watch 0.1.3) — run sudo pacman -Syu.

Linxira WSL puts the whole Linxira toolchain inside Windows' WSL2: systemd enabled, the signed [linxira] repository tracks updates directly, and linxira-config stack completes Python / Java / LaTeX / containers in one command — CLI, TUI, and GUI (WSLg) forms, a full Linxira environment without reinstalling.

Installation

See the installation guide: write the ISO to a USB drive, then choose KDE Plasma (recommended), Headless (full toolset) or Headless (minimal) at the desktop step. COSMIC is still listed but should be treated as experimental.

Known issues in this build

Zeta 1.4.4 is unstable on Linux: prefer the npm install path; it is solidly fixed from 1.4.6 onward.
COSMIC system entries: some entries do not open a terminal or close immediately; terminal-based components may also exit on COSMIC. Root cause: cosmic-term has no -e. Fixed in linxira-config-hub 2.6.2, linxira-update 0.1.10, linxira-crash-watch 0.1.3; run sudo pacman -Syu. Plasma is unaffected.
The first linxira-update may report an unsynced repository: from linxira-update 0.1.10 the tool retries pacman -Sy and re-detects automatically; older versions need one manual sudo pacman -Sy.
Audio pop on power transitions: headphones or speakers may click briefly at power-on; this is hardware-level noise and is not addressed here.

No old versions: Arch Linux is a rolling release, so an image only reflects the repositories of its build day. Old images are not retained or offered — only each version's SHA256 is recorded. Images are built roughly every 25–45 days; always use the current version on this page.

Note: the ISO is an aggregate work — kernel GPL-2.0-only, system components under their own licenses, first-party tools MIT/GPL-3.0. The SHA256SUMS file is stored alongside the ISO in the GitCode repository; WSL images live in the linxira-wsl repository Releases.
